Details have emerged regarding how a male suspect, Frank John, was arrested after luring two of his victims to Edo State through a popular social media platform. While parading the suspects, the Police Public Relations Officer for the Edo State Police Command, SP Chidi Nwabuzor, revealed how Frank was apprehended during a stop and search exercise.

According to AIT News, Frank claimed to be a native doctor while initially discussing with Shittu (residing in Bayelsa) and Christian Sunday (residing in Port Harcourt). At the time, Frank vowed to make both men rich without involving blood rituals. The suspect then invited both victims to Igarra, Edo State, where they were attacked and their ATM card and pin code were forcibly obtained.
Narrating his side of the story, Frank said, “I asked him for the money he intended to spend on the rituals, and he told me that he had N18,000 in his bank account. I then urged him to transfer the money so that I could purchase items for the said rituals, but his bank had network challenges. This made me collect his ATM and pin code. I left them at our meeting point and went to withdraw the money when I got arrested.
However, Frank’s victim, Christian Sunday, claims that he was attacked by the suspect and his accomplices, who extorted and threatened to kill him.
