Mum-of-22 Sue Radford’s New York Christmas trip hit with another huge setback which could end up costing a bomb

YESTERDAY we saw mum-of-22 Sue Radford jet off to New York with three of her daughters for a festive trip.

While their holiday got off to a bumpy start, with the family missing their connection and almost missing another flight, it appears that things have gone from bad to worse.

Mum-of-22 Sue Radford’s surprise Christmas trip to New York has been hit with another huge setback, as they arrived at the JFK Airport, to realise that their luggage was still in Heathrow
But the family didn’t let this get them down and headed off on a shopping trip to search for clothes and toiletries
Sue shared a variety of images and videos of the family exploring New York as they went shopping and looked at Christmas lights

Sue later took to her Instagram account to reveal that upon arriving in New York, for their festive trip that was booked as a surprise by her husband Noel, the family were hit with another huge setback.

When Sue Radford, along with three of her daughters, touched down in the United States, at the JFK Airport, they got off the flight to find that their luggage was still in Heathrow.

But this meant only one thing – a shopping trip.

Sue explained: “Not one suitcase came off the conveyor, they are all still in Heathrow.

“So first stop, buying new clothes and toiletries”.

Although the family have had a bit of a rough start to their December trip, mum of Britain’s largest family and her daughters haven’t let it get them down.

Sue and her husband Noel are parents to Chris, 32, Sophie, 27, Chloe, 26, Jack, 24, Daniel, 22, Luke, 21, Millie, 20, Katie, 19, James, 18, Ellie, 16, Aimee, 15, Josh, 14, Max, 12, Tillie, 11, Oscar, 10, Casper, nine, Hallie, six, Phoebe, five, Archie, four, Bonnie, three, and Heidie, one.

Sadly the couple’s 17th child Alfie was still born on July 6, 2014.

The family famously doesn’t rely on benefits and is supported by their pie shop business.

The Radfords, who live in a 10-bed former care home, often show off their millionaire lifestyle on Instagram.

Sue later posted some pictures and videos to her Instagram stories, as they drove around the big city, looking at high-rise buildings, designer shops and Christmas lights.

Their first stop, which was recommended by many of their fans, was the Dyker Heights Christmas Lights tour.

The Dyker Heights Christmas Lights 2022 display has become one of the best New York attractions during the holiday season.

The streets were flooded with tourists admiring the beautiful Christmas trees and decorations, as the family stopped to watch thee stunning light display.

After stopping to buy toiletries and clothes for their trip, they then headed off to their hotel.

After a quick freshen up, the family were out again to look at more Christmas displays in a New York neighbourhood.

Sue was left very impressed at the dazzling display, as she said: “Wow, just wow”.

The festive spirit was certainly in the air as families gathered in the streets to look at the beautiful lights.

The Brooklyn neighbourhood is home to the most over-the-top Christmas light decorations with life-sized Santas, sleighs, snowmen and some houses even play Christmas carols from loudspeakers.

I’m a mum-of-nine, my kids eat so much I’ve had to build a supermarket in my cellar

HAVING children will pull at any parents’ purse strings and the more they grow, the more money you’ll spend.

If you’re a mum or dad, you’ll know how fast kids can hoover up your food, use up household essentials like loo roll and shower gel and fill a wash basket full of laundry.

One mum has got it harder than most with an incredible nine children to care for.

Jamerrill Stewart from the US happily shares how she supports her family-of-11.

To make food shopping and meal prep less of a stress, she’s built a full-on supermarket underneath her house.

In a recent YouTube video, she gave her loyal followers a very special tour.

I was a mum-of-nine at 28 – people say I look younger than my oldest kids

I’m a mum-of-7 and people always ask how I afford such a big family…here’s how

She captioned the 40-minute clip: “By long-awaited request. I’m finally getting around to giving you the full tour of the growing grocery store in my basement!

“This is a large family food storage tour. Don’t be scared. I’m a mom of 9. I feed my large family of 11 all day, every day. We work from home, homeschool, and serve up about 84 meals and 60 snacks for 11 people a month (that’s over 920 meal-time servings and over 660 snack servings a month!).

“I hope you enjoy today’s building a grocery store in my basement tour!”

Jamerrill regularly shares her meal prep and bulk freezer recipes online – as well as her monster shopping trips.

But what lies beneath her home is astonishing.

“You’re going to see a lot of tomato products,” she warns, standing in front of a refrigerated shelf. “I’ll use 15 to 20 cans for a chilli – I do big stock pots and many other mega-mumma recipes with all this food in here.”

Jamerrill leads viewers around her impressive cellar, where floor-to-ceiling shelves hold stacks of tinned meat and vegetables, jam, sauce and seasoning.

She brings the oldest items to the front of the shelf, to make sure nothing goes to waste.

The mum shows off her tinned shelf, and explains her labelling process along with sandwich-making for a family of 11.

“We can take a whole stack of bread and make 22 sandwiches with peanut butter and jelly – and they last in the car for hours,” she explains.

She also has a whole shelf of bulk-bought apple sauce, and at least 60 cans of chicken chunks ready for mealtime.

Among multiple cans of hotdogs, mushrooms and soup are towers of baked beans stacked precariously right up to the ceiling.

“The beans are deep and wide,” she exclaims, zooming in on her collection. “If I’m doing soups or chilli I can use 15 cans easily.”

There’s at least 15 pots of mustard, hundreds of ziplock food bags and over 100 toilet rolls.

“I have a whole big shelf at the bottom dedicated to baby items and there’s diapers up here in the paper plate section,” she says, holding up endless stacks of paper plates. “But believe me, this is highly, highly organised.”

There’s an easy way for Jamerrill to know if she needs to top up on any items.

“If the shelf is empty, it’s empty,” she states. “I’ve probably got about 12 bottles of hand soap, and a box of extra toothbrushes and toothpaste.

“I’m also freeze-drying my own food and my leftovers,” she reveals. “I’ve learned some things. We have a good pantry storage amount of fruits and vegetables, soups, salmon, chicken, tuna and spices, coffee, vinegar and peanut butter – we roll through that.”

For anyone with a big family, Jamerrill is certainly an inspiration.

Fabulous Football News motherhood News Parenting Parenting Club Sleep

I’m a parenting expert & sleep pro – the ‘rule of threes’ that tells you when your toddler is REALLY ready for a big bed

YOUR toddler looks like they’re fast outgrowing their cot bed – but how can you be sure they’re ready for a big bed?

Well, according to parenting and sleep expert Lucy Wolfe, there are three boxes you need to check first.

How can you tell if your child is ready to go from their cot or cot bed to a “big bed”?[/caption]

Lucy opened up to Zoe Blaskey on The Motherkind Podcast as part of their Toddler Milestone Series with Baby Annabell.

“For me, if at all possible, I try and avoid the transition to the big bed until perhaps I have the rule of threes,” Lucy said.

“And it is this.

“I love the idea that your child is older than three, because developmentally we know that they are able to process the information and not only process the information but see it through.

“So impulse control – I ask you to do something and maybe you’re able to do it.

“Whereas often before 2.5 or 3, I ask them to do it, they understand what I’ve said but they can’t necessarily see it through.

“For example, stay in the garden, don’t go out the gate, hold my hand, don’t touch the hot surface.

“That skill starts to manifest closer to 2.5/3, so again I’m might then say ‘Stay in your bed, don’t get out’, is more manageable for a slightly older child.

“So I like the idea that they might be over three.”

Next, Lucy likes the idea that the child is nap free.

“So I’ve no more naps so I don’t need to worry about trying to wrestle them into a bed in the middle of the day,” she said.

And her third rule is that the child is nappy free.

“The reason behind that is, now I really know, you’ve got an instruction and you can see it through,” she continued.

“You’ve learned how to wait so if I said, ‘wait, i’m going to go to the bathroom, I’m going to go away and then I’m going to come back and check on you’, I know that they’ve learned that skill because they’re toilet trained as well.

“That’s my ideal setting because then I feel it can be a much smoother transition.”

But that’s not to say that you can’t transition your child before the age of three.

Lucy said she’s had clients’ children around 18 months who were alreayd sleeping in a big bed.

However, if a younger child is becoming “unsafe” around their cot, Lucy finds herself getting “curious” about the reasons why.

And if they aren’t ticking her “rule of threes” checklist, she tries to investigate that.

“I might stay with them and teach them how to be in the cot one more time,” she added.

I’ve just found out I’M the neighbour from hell after getting an email from the woman next door – I feel awful

WE often hear about people who are annoyed with their neighbours and the amount of noise they make.

But one woman was left feeling mortified when she found out that SHE was the “neighbour from hell”, after receiving an email from the woman next door.

Michelle was left feeling awful when she received an email from her neighbour complaining about her fire alarm going off[/caption]

As well as being irritated by the noise, the woman was worried about Michelle’s wellbeing as she could see the light was on[/caption]

“I just found out that I am the neighbour from hell and I feel terrible,” Michelle began her TikTok video.

“I was out last night and I woke up to an email from my neighbour that came through at around 9.45, being like ‘Hey Michelle, your fire alarm has been going off for hours now and your light’s on, so I’m concerned that you’re home and that there’s been an accident’.”

Because Michelle doesn’t check her emails at that time, her neighbour ended up having to call the police.

But while they were talking to the police, another neighbour who had a key to her flat opened it up, and they were relieved to discover she wasn’t at home.

“My neighbour literally just took my fire alarm off my ceiling so that it doesn’t keep going off in the middle of the night,” she continued.

“But apparently it was going off for like 5 hours and even the noise is just irritating – I feel terrible.

“And I’m just like, I’m that person that you b**ch to your friends about.”

She concluded by admitting that the final email she received from her neighbour – where she explained why she’d taken the alarm out – made her feel even worse.

“It was just like, ‘I’m so glad you’re okay’,” Michelle recalled.

“She was just genuinely concerned about me!”

People in the comments section were quick to reassure Michelle that the situation didn’t make her the neighbour from hell.

“I mean you would be if you were there and you let it go for hours,” one wrote.

“But you were not there, so you are not the neighbour from hell.”

“This… is not being the neighbour from hell… those would be deliberately making loud noise at 3pm or some ish like that,” another added.

As a third agreed, writing: “You’re only the neighbour from hell if you did it intentionally.”

What made things even worse was the fact that her neighbour was so genuinely concerned about her wellbeing[/caption]

We got dress-coded for wearing bikinis at a rec center but many people agree we had every right to wear them

TWO women have claimed they got dress-coded for wearing bikinis, but they have insisted they were in the right.

In a TikTok that has since gone semi-viral, the pair of friends yelled at an employee of a recreation center after appearing to be dress-coded by the pool for wearing two-pieces.

TikTok/ ayreslawfirm

A worker tried to explain the dress code to the women[/caption]

TikTok/ ayreslawfirm

They asked the man for the policy[/caption]

“Wow, you’re a pool man. Wow,” one of the women sarcastically said at the start of the video.

As the man who appeared to be the supervisor left the room, another worker attempted to talk with them about the issue.

The worker calmly said he “understood” why the women were “frustrated.”

“Why do you think we’re frustrated?” one of the women shot back.

The man went on to say that from his understanding, another employee told them to “cover up.”

One of the women said they were told they needed to put on “some shorts.”

The other women said she had worn the same bathing suit at the same place “at least ten times” and never had a problem.

The first woman was wearing a burnt orange bikini, and the other a black patterned bikini.

” I don’t need some Mormon mom jealous of my body to tell me to cover up,” the woman said.

“This is not a church facility, it’s a public place.”

She said she shouldn’t be told to cover up when she is with her black friends, who were not pictured in the video, when she has never been told that when she is there with her white friends.

The woman went on to complain the dress code ended in”f****** high-school.”

“If there’s a dress code everywhere we go, that’s not America.”

The worker then thanked the woman for explaining, but said that “unfortunately that is policy.”

They then asked to see the policy.

The women in the orange bikini said she works in government and writes policy, so the facility should have it.

The man offered to have the women come to the front desk while he looks for the policy.

The women responded that he should not have come up to them, if they did not have a policy.

In the comments of the video, which was posted by the ayreslawfirm account that asked fans who was in the wrong, many people appeared to defend the facility.

“Literally everywhere has a dress code, it’s kind of implied,” one commenter said.

“I love how great he kept his composure,” said another.

“Very embarrassing on their part. I literally go to this gym and it’s very well known there’s rules about dress code (sic),” said a third.

However, others backed the women up.

“I would ask for the Manager ( his boss),” one said.

“What was wrong with what they had on?” a different person said.

The encounter appears to have taken place at the Provo, Utah. Recreation.

A manager told The U.S Sun they could not comment on the matter, as it “might be a legal case.”

However, their website does note certain rules about the dress code.

The recreational center says on its website that “proper swim attire” is “required.”

They don’t allow “denim or street clothing” in the pool, but do allow a”fitted cover-up shirt or swim shorts.”

The facility asks patrons to “observe posted rules.”

“The lifeguard has the final responsibility to inform patrons of any other rules,” the website reads.

“All rules are for the safety of our patrons.”

I’m a 34G-cup – how I use boob tape to make my chest defy gravity, there are two important tips to follow

A WOMAN with a 34G bra size has shared her two important tips to abide by when using boob tape to get the best results.

Content creator Vanessa has shown that boob tape does in fact work, all while using some comedic flair in a social media video.

A busty woman has shown how she uses boob tape to get the perfect lift[/caption]

“Does boob tape work on larger chests? Well, you tell me,” Vanessa began in a TikTok video uploaded to her 110k followers.

She then dove into comparisons to show the stark difference between the right side of her chest, which had boob tape on it, and the left side which was untouched.

“She looks fake, and she’s looking down to earth,” she pointed at each side of her chest.

“She just woke up, and she’s about to go to bed.”

Vanessa wore an amused look as she continued: “She believes in physics, while she’s defying gravity.”

It was made clear to viewers that the boob tape gave the right side of Vanessa’s chest an instant lift.

The busty woman left some advice in the comments section of her clip for women looking to achieve the same results with boob tape.

She said: “Don’t pull them up too much and use enough tape!”

Viewers down in the comments shared their appreciation for Vanessa’s content.

“I just love your channel so much. Thank youuuuu because you help me out a lot so I can love my body,” one TikToker wrote.

Another spectator expressed that they weren’t able to achieve the same results as Vanessa.

They said: “I can never get mine like this.”

“Do you think it would work on a J? I found a really nice prom dress but it’s strapless,” another person wrote.

Vanessa responded by saying: “Give it a try for 2-3 hours to see how it feels.”

“Be careful and patient.”

I’m an etiquette expert & here’s how to eat a mince pie the correct way – it should take a certain amount of bites

AN ETIQUETTE guru has revealed how to indulge in a crumbly mince pie while still appearing elegant and sophisticated.

TikTok tutor Lucy Challenger, 39, has garnered over half a million followers as she teaches viewers the high-class way of doing everyday tasks.

TikTok creator Lucy Challenger has revealed the elegant way to eat a crumbly mince pie[/caption]

The etiquette guru also showed Brits the ideal number of bites it takes to eat the festive favourite[/caption]

And in a recent clip, the manners expert showed people the “formal British way” to eat the Christmas favourite mince pie.

To start, Lucy says it is imperative to pick up the sweet treat with the thumb and first finger – before tucking in with “delicate bites”.

“The mince pie is crumbly, so make sure anything that falls from the mince pie falls onto your plate,” she added.

According to the 39-year-old, the optimal number of bites it takes to munch through the festive luxury is between four and six.

But she warned that although they “taste delicious” a mince pie is also “rather filling”, so to remain dignified it is best to hold back.

“Don’t overindulge this Christmas, as otherwise you might feel like you’ve turned into a mince pie yourself,” she advised.

The TikTok star regularly offers suggestions about how to keep up your etiquette day-to-day.

Other foods she has told viewers how to consume in a tasteful way include cocktails, cheese strings and Cadbury’s crème eggs.

And alongside her online fame, Lucy is also the founder and CEO of classy Mayfair agency Polo and Tweed, which recruits employees for her high-end clients.

Viewers of the stylish account were also treated to a history lesson of the origins of a mince pie.

She described it as “a sweet pie of English origin filled with mincemeat… a mixture of fruit, spices and suet – not actual meat.

“These pies are traditionally served in much of the English speaking world during Christmas time.

“The ingredients of a mince pie are traceable to the 13th century when returning European crusaders brought with them Middle Eastern recipes containing meat, fruits and spices.”

And her loyal fans took to the comments to give their thoughts on her sophistication advice.

One said: “I spent my whole life thinking British people were putting actual meat in pies”.

“They sound delicious – I need to try that someday,” said another.

However, a third commented: “I’ve learnt loads from you, however you just can’t beat informal food with people who just eat however they want”.

For those wanting to know the best value mince pie on the market as we head into the festive period, The Sun has taste-tested the traditional treats to find out whether supermarket own-brand goods beat the brands on quality and price.

And the winner came out at a whopping 30 per cent cheaper than the classic Mr Kipling mince pies – and tasted almost exactly the same.

But in a vote from the Which? annual mince pie test, those from Waitrose and Aldi have been named the best for Christmas.

The posh supermarket’s brown butter mince pies with Cognac were voted a “best buy” in the annual contest.

But Aldi’s specially selected mince pies were also named a “best buy” – and they cost half the price.
